We’ve gathered answers to some of the most common questions about our flowers, weddings, and ordering process to make things simple for you. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, feel free to reach out through our contact form.
For more detailed or in-depth enquiries, we may invite you to book a consultation, available at $50 per 30 minutes. This fee simply covers our consult and associated admin time, as we prefer to keep the cost of consultations separate rather than building it into our flower prices.
General
Yes! We offer 30-minute phone or zoom consultations for $50, perfect for couples who have lots of questions or need extra guidance before placing an order.
Most wedding florists will factor consultation time and lengthy email exchanges into their pricing. To keep our flowers as affordable and accessible as possible, we offer optional paid consultations on request, instead of building the cost into your order.
We encourage you to place your order as soon as possible to secure availability for your delivery date, and to allow us plenty of time to source the very best seasonal blooms from our suppliers.
We can take orders a year and a half in advance, right up until two weeks before - unless a date is particularly popular & we reach capacity prior.
If you need wedding flowers with less than two weeks notice - Please reach out to us at info@loveblooms.com.au to confirm our availability & what your options are. We may not have time to preorder with our suppliers, but we can usually still make you something beautiful with what is readily available to us.
Yes, absolutely! We love seeing your mood boards and inspo pics - it gives us an insight into your vision for your day and helps us ensure we’re on the same page. We also love to see images of the nearly-wed couple, your actual dresses/suits and your venue.
Feel free to include a message with a little bit about your love story while you’re at it - we’re all romantics here and it’s always extra special for us to hear about the couples we create for.

No. We are an online only business operating out of a busy studio space in a shared warehouse.
We are not able to allow on site visitors, unless you are collecting an order.
No. Due to the seasonal nature of flowers, our product images are a guide only.
In order to keep our prices as accessible as possible, we use a combination of the best seasonal flowers available. Your flowers will be inspired by your chosen style/colour palette. By placing your order you are empowering our skilled florists to choose the most suitable flowers on your behalf.
Please get in touch as soon as possible if you would like to cancel or make changes to your order.
We cannot offer a full refund for cancellations with less than two weeks notice before your scheduled delivery date, as we are working with perishable goods in a made-to-order capacity.
Yes, plenty of our options are great for non-wedding events! We recommend just popping a note in the notes field at checkout to tell us what type of event the flowers are for, and where you plan to place any larger arrangements so we can ensure the flowers we deliver are suited to the space.
If you're having trouble selecting your wedding date, we may be unavailable, at capacity, or the date could be a public holiday. If you'd like to double-check, feel free to email us at info@loveblooms.com.au.
Delivery & Collection
We deliver flowers across Metropolitan Melbourne Monday - Friday (excluding public holidays). For most orders we use a third party courier company with experienced drivers.
We also offer free collections from our warehouse in Footscray.
Due to the perishable nature of our products, we are not able to deliver flowers to regional Victoria or interstate.
Our delivery fees are calculated based on both distance and the size of your order at checkout. We also offer collections from our warehouse in Footscray as a free alternative.
No, currently we are only able to deliver to one address per order. If you require two separate deliveries, please place two orders and include a note at checkout to let us know so we can ensure the flowers in both orders are co-ordinated.
If you have placed your order as one, but now require delivery to a second address, please send an email to info@loveblooms.com.au to request a quote for the additional delivery.
As our deliveries are made between 12pm and 5pm, and the order of deliveries are based on each days individual delivery run, we recommend selecting delivery for the day before your wedding or event.
We ensure your flowers are packed with plenty of water, and will ask you to follow the care instructions provided on our website, to ensure your flowers remain fresh and beautiful for your big day.
One of the ways we keep our pricing as accessible and transparent as possible is by offering courier delivery or collection as our standard options.
If you require a bump in/bump out please reach out via email to confirm our availability and to obtain a quote.
Please note that a bump in/out quote is usually significantly higher than a courier delivery fee, and it will reflect additional factors such as fuel, travel time for our florists to and from venues, time spent on site/installing, admin costs and the time of day.
Flower Care
We only use the freshest possible at Love Blooms, so we recommend following the below instructions to take good care of your blooms and maximise their life in the lead up to your event.
Vase Arrangements:
- Upon delivery, top up the water in the vase to ensure it is full.
- Keep in a cool place, away from direct sunlight, drafts and air conditioning.
- Continue to check daily, ensuring an adequate water level is maintained and all stems are fully submerged. Water should be replaced completely every two days.

Wedding Bouquets:
- Upon delivery your bouquets will be in a water source. Please check all stems are partially submerged in water, taking care not to submerge the ribboning.
- Keep in a cool place, away from direct sunlight, drafts and air conditioning.

Cake Flowers & Wearable Flowers (Buttonholes, Corsages etc):
- Wired flowers will be delivered in enclosed packaging. Keeping your flowers in this packaging and placing them in the crisper drawer of your fridge will help to keep them in optimum condition (just be sure nothing is placed on top of them in the fridge!).
- Keep in a cool place, away from direct sunlight, drafts and air conditioning.
